SATURDAY, NOV 18 | 2PM-8PM | MOA

This six hour event at the Mall of America is truly jam-packed with fun – performances, celebrity appearances, free food, prizes, and of course, dancing! This is a dance party with a purpose. It is the most Inclusive Dance Party in the State of Minnesota. It is a dance party where everyone is welcome, and where everyone is celebrated because of their differences and abilities. It is a dance party that is helping to change our communities, and create a world where everyone is included. A world where everyone belongs.

 CURRENT CHAMPION SCHOOLS

Help us make all Minnesota Schools Champions of Inclusion!

There are currently 40 Unified Champion Schools in the State of Minnesota. A Unified Champion School has 3 main pillars: Inclusive Youth Leadership, Unified Sports, and Whole School Engagement.  Unified Schools are the core of the Unified Movement – creating hallways, lunchrooms, and communities where everyone is accepted and celebrated.

Funds raised through UDM will help us reach our goal of all 20,000+ schools in the state of Minnesota Championing the movement of inclusion!

Unified to me means more than just being partnered with someone with disabilities, it's a different way of thinking, they're a peer and a friend and no one is on the outside looking in. UDM confirmed my love for people and being unified. No one deserves to be excluded, and UDM makes sure everyone is involved and having fun.

I love the idea of a day long dance marathon- I think it's awesome to get a big group of friends together and have a crazy fun day for an awesome cause. I also think it's a great platform for promoting our schools unified clubs and Special Olympics in our schools. So so pumped for this years marathon!

We go to the U.D.M because we love supporting a great organization and making fun memories with athletes and new friends!

Unified is something that is very important to us. Amelie is a Special Olympics Athlete, and on our HS dance team, always works so hard and is so excited and happy. She inspires us and we are so excited to dance with her and support all of the wonderful athlete there. We're so excited to go to such an amazing and fun event
